Although television commercials have begun to jump on the social networking bandwagon, none have done it quite like Bing. I’ve seen cell phone companies talk about how you could use Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare on the phone. I have seen credit card companies leverage Twitter in their ads. However, all those ads pale in comparison to the new Bing campaign. Bing emphasizes the fact that their integration with Facebook allows users to see if their friends have liked the website they are searching. Bing totally gets it. They are showcasing the importance of the ‘like’ button and proving that people trust their friends over anything else. Take a look at the below ad and tell me what you think!
